because he has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recoveryof sight for the blind,
to release the oppressed,
to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."Luke 4:18-19

Testimony:God delivered me of so much. I was saved at 16, fell back at 17. Went to drugs, alcohol, sex, Wicca, and more... Gods grace rescued me at 21. I've been saved for three years now and still struggle but now I can depend on and live through Christ. It's all about him!

Testimony:I grew up in a christian home. I didn't really commmitte my life to the Lord until I was 15. When I was 15 I saw something in christians that I had never really seen before and that was the love of Christ. My church never really taught on the love of Christ but only condemnation and hell if people weren't saved. But at a christian biker rally I came to know that Christ loved me and that is why He wants me to know Him. So at that rally I committed my life to the Lord.

Testimony:There wasn't anything clear back then; everything was momentarily joyous but perpetually melancholic. Religion, it turned out, was the balance I needed. Maybe it was me, but I thought I saw a whole new range of possibilities I had never had the courage to see.

Testimony:Well basically, in my younger years my life was really hard i had a rough time dealing with life. I tried suicide a couple of times, didn't succede so I stayed really depressed. Knowing that the person that had me wanted nothing to do with me. I went to church every Sunday and Wednesday but couldn't draw close to God because I was mad. Well after my grandma died I knew I had to give in to God because he was all i had and I knew i could depend on him. I am who i am today because of him i am saved and God has brought me this far, i will continue to live for He despite what i go through!

Testimony:I live my life to follow Jesus whatever it takes and wherever he leads me. I just want to follow Him, no matter what it costs and to be a Radical Disciple for Him. I'm standing firm to the promise that He has good plans for me (Jeremiah 29:11) going to heal all of my pain and that joy will come in the morning after the night is over and mould me into the person He wants me to be - which involves me being a missionary in Africa (eventually) hopefully working intimately with a community translating the Bible into their language.

Testimony:I was born into a christian family and i gave my life to God shortly after moving to Scotland at age 6. From then til i was 15 we went to the local Church of Scotland, i served in the praise band, was an active member of the youth group and was baptised there when i was 11. It wasn't until two years ago that i really started to see God in my life and things have been getting better since :D.

Testimony:I was saved when I was about twelve years old. At the time I thought I was just following in my mother's footsteps, but it was by Divine appointment that I was saved. I've never regretted my decision, it made me a better and stronger person. However, when I was in my late teens, I grew apart from God. I was out on my own, and I somehow ended up following the wrong crowd. I had these friends who would not accept me unless I did the things they did, like partying and for a little while I ended up getting involved in those same things. At the same time, these friends would reject me at will and make me feel like nothing. I visited with my mom, and she could see how broken and tired I was. With God's help, she turned things around for the better in my life. I developed a much more stronger and personal relationship with God, where the communication lines are definately open now. As a result, God is once again the focal point of my life and He is above all else where He should be.

Testimony:I started believing in God when I was 11. My parents were never believers. I have had my fair share of issues with God but in the end I have ALWAYS gone back. Now my faith is stronger than ever and I am realizing more and more about how in the past, whether I knew it or not, God has always been there.

Testimony:As a youth I went to mass, and church school, but then I went back to school, and didn't carry out on the promises I had made to the Lord. I believed in him, and loved him, but I didn't know him fully. It wasn't until a few years ago that I really got to feel his love and glory, and not because he hadn't been there, but because I hadn't been seeking. I don't have some huge turning point to tell you about, it was just a feeling that I wanted to know more. Now I am so thankful to those around me that helped lead me to the light, and I hope to be that person for each of you.

Testimony:I was raised in a Christian home like a lot of other volunteers. I came to accept Christ when I was 10 years old but I don't think it was until 4 or 5 years later until I really started feeling the fire. When I was 12 I was involved in a car accident that killed my sister who was 10. I learned what death was at a young age and I knew at that point that I don't know how long I have on this earth that I only have one life to live.

Testimony:I came to Christ when I was 7 years old at a Christian camp. I remember praying that I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. I wasn't sure what God wanted me to do, but I remember being brought to tears thinking that I needed to "give my life to Christ". For years, I did everything I could to please God, but I never thought it was enough. I have desired to do MORE for God for most of my life. My testimony of coming to God really isn't the real testimony of my life, though. The testimony is what happened in the last 10 years that pulled me away from him. I battled depression, anger, rage, alcohol, cigarettes, sex addictions, homosexuality, and more. The worst period of darkness was when I left God for Satan and followed the Pagan path of Wicca. The darkness was so overwhelming that more than once I tried to end my life. Finally, I realized it wasn't the people that had given me a hard time that caused it. It wasn't the fact that I left school. It wasn't anything else but the fact that I left God. Slowly, I crawled back to him. Today, it's been about a year since all of this happened, and I am renewed in the spirit of God and full of a zeal and passion that I NEVER had before. When I wanted to do more for God, I wasn't willing to allow him to put me where I needed to be. Now, I have let go to allow him to move me where I need to be moved, to place me where I need to be placed. I am a child of God, and I am alive in him for one of the first times in my 24 years.
